This policy explains what information the Sawari app (“Sawari”, “the app”, “we”) handles, and what it does not. It is written to be read, not just to satisfy a requirement. If anything here is unclear, email us at the address above.

The short version

• Sawari works entirely offline. The vehicle information you enter stays on your phone. We never receive it, store it on a server, or share it.
• Sawari has no accounts, no login, and no cloud sync.
• The app shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google may collect device and advertising information. This is the only data that leaves your device, and it is handled by Google, not by us.
• Uninstalling the app deletes everything Sawari stored on your phone.

1. Information you enter, and where it lives

To do its job, Sawari lets you record details about your vehicles and documents:

• Vehicle make, model, year, type, nickname and plate number
• Bluebook (registration) renewal or registration dates
• Driving licence, insurance and servicing dates
• Odometer readings and service records you choose to add
• Your reminder preferences (lead times, notification time, language, numerals)

All of this is stored only in a private database on your own device. It is not transmitted anywhere. We, the developers, cannot see it, and no server of ours ever holds it. There is no account to sign into because there is nothing stored off your phone to sign into.

If you use the “share” feature to send a deadline summary, the image is created on your device and handed to whichever app you pick in your phone’s share sheet. Sawari does not upload it.

2. Information we do NOT collect

We do not collect your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, photos, files, or any account credentials. Sawari requests no access to your camera, microphone, precise location, contacts, or media library.

3. Reminders (notifications)

Sawari schedules reminder notifications locally on your device. They are not sent from, or routed through, any server. Nothing about your deadlines leaves your phone in order to remind you. If a notification opens the app, it simply takes you to the relevant screen.
