Choyo Labs operates XLS File Viewer & XLSX Reader for Android (the “App”). This policy describes how the current App handles information.

1. Spreadsheet files and local storage

The App lets you create spreadsheets and select Excel 97–2003 (XLS) or modern Excel (XLSX) files through Android’s system file picker.

• The App receives scoped, read-only access to the file you select. It does not request access to your entire storage.
• The original selected file is not modified.
• An editable copy is stored in the App’s local SQLite database on your device.
• Spreadsheet contents are not uploaded to or stored on a Choyo Labs server.
• Imported workbooks are limited to the first sheet, 100 rows, 26 columns, and 15 MB.
• Legacy XLS files can be opened and edited, then shared in XLSX or PDF format.

Local spreadsheets remain until you delete them in the App, clear the App’s data, or uninstall the App.

2. Sharing and export

When you export an XLSX or PDF, the App opens Android’s system sharing interface. The destination app or service you choose handles the exported file under its own privacy policy. Choyo Labs does not receive the exported file.

3. Age range

The App asks you to select an age range: under 13, 13–17, or 18 or older. Only the selected age band is stored locally; the App does not ask for or store a birth date.

The age band is used to apply age-appropriate advertising and consent settings. Child and teen selections receive restricted treatment and non-personalized ad requests. The App is listed for users aged 13 and older, but applies child-safe treatment if “under 13” is selected.

4. Advertising and consent

The App uses Google Mobile Ads to display banner and interstitial advertisements and Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request consent or show privacy choices where required.
